Meet Dr. Lauren

Lauren is dedicated to minimizing pain, expediting healing, and reinstating smooth movement and comfort promptly. She accomplishes these objectives through established hands-on chiropractic methods such as adjustments, joint mobilization, and soft tissue therapy. Every patient receives a personalized treatment plan tailored to their unique needs, ensuring the best possible path to rehabilitation. Lauren prioritizes her patients' health and long-term well-being above all else.

Chiropractic Education

Dr Lauren qualified with a Master’s in Health Sciences: Chiropractic (with distinction) from the University of Johannesburg in 2021. She also attained her B. Tech (Chiropractic) from UJ with Distinction. After completing her qualifications, Dr. Lauren attends  numerous courses to constantly update her knowledge base. Lauren is a member of the Golden Key Society. 

Registrations

Lauren is registered with the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa (AHPCSA) and the Board of Health Care Funders (BHF). She is also a member of the Chiropractic Association of South Africa (CASA), Paediatric Chiropractic South Africa (PCSA), and ChiroSport SA. Dr. Lauren serves on the Gauteng Regional Internship Committee for the AHPCSA.

Fun Facts

When Lauren isn't looking after her patients, you can either find her in the kitchen cooking up a storm or in the park training her dogs - Frankie and Charlie.

Meet Dr. Nadia

With a fervent passion for sports and family chiropractic, Dr. Nádia champions a holistic approach. Central to her philosophy is a belief in the body's inherent capacity for self-healing. She focuses on fostering comprehensive wellness by emphasizing movement, nutrition, and lifestyle. Dr. Nádia's commitment extends beyond mere treatment; she is dedicated to nurturing enduring health and vitality in her patients.

Chiropractic Education

Dr. Nádia Afonso earned her Master's in Health Sciences: Chiropractic from the University of Johannesburg in 2023. Her mini dissertation delved into patient satisfaction at a Chiropractic Day Clinic in South Africa. While at the University of Johannesburg, she served as an official tutor, assisting 3rd and 4th-year students with chiropractic manipulation techniques, clinical chiropractic, and clinical diagnostics.

Fun Facts

Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Nádia finds joy in exercising, walking her two basset hounds, Franklin & Delilah. You can also find Nádia experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
